Ambulatory Surgical Center

Located in Charlotte, North Carolina this Surgical Center is the first commercial project I’ve completed while in undergrad. I really wanted to show life and light to make the hospital feel more like home. I included more niche painting and details mostly seen in residential spaces. The many wood pieces and even wooden shutters all point to comfort and nature in a familiar way. I also included Biophillia in many of the spaces again to bring those that visit the Surgical Center back to nature and a calming sensation.
